Selah Photos was born from both passion and transformation. I was born and raised in Cuba, so when you hear me talk, you’ll notice my Latin American accent. For almost four years I pursued a career in medicine, dreaming of becoming a trauma doctor or internal medicine specialist, but life had other plans. After moving to Canada, marrying, and becoming a mother of three, I redirected and found myself drawn into an entirely new path — photography.

What started as curiosity quickly became purpose. Six years later, I can’t imagine doing anything else. I see photography as both an art and a responsibility: to preserve fleeting moments, to create timeless heirlooms, and to give couples the peace of mind that their love story will be remembered exactly as it felt.

My photography style is luxurious, shaped by an editorial eye and a heart for connection. I’m intentional in the way I compose an image, but I never lose sight of the natural, candid moments that show who you really are together as a couple. You can expect a calm, effortless experience, one where you can relax, trust the process, and stay fully present while I take care of the rest.

My faith is central to how I live and work. I believe in honesty, care, and treating every client with the same warmth I’d want for my own family. Because Sundays are precious, I only take on a limited number of Sunday events each year. If your celebration falls on a Sunday, I encourage you to inquire early to secure your date.
