That was exactly the case for Emily and George’s pre-wedding photoshoot in downtown Toronto. The weather predicted clouds and showers all day, with no sign of sunshine. But I prayed! I asked for just two things: a few minutes of golden light... and good traffic. And guess what? I got both.

Toronto Weather and a Lucky Break

Despite the overcast sky, we began our session with high hopes and good energy. The city streets gave us that editorial-meets-documentary style I love, and just as I had hoped, the sun peeked out for a few beautiful minutes. We took full advantage of that golden glow, shooting fast and soaking up the light. And just as we wrapped up... the rain returned.

Yes, literally right as we said goodbye. Perfect timing.

Love in the Air (and on the Street)

One of the sweetest parts of the shoot? The strangers passing by. People couldn’t help but stop and compliment Emily and George. It was like their love radiated beyond the camera. You know it’s a great shoot when even the public becomes part of the celebration.
