Engagement Photoshoot at Dundurn Castle, Hamilton | A Fun, Laid-Back Day with Lea & James

It was an absolutely perfect sunny day in Hamilton, Ontario, and I had the pleasure of spending it capturing the love story of Lea and James. We met at a cozy café to kick things off before heading over to one of my favorite spots in the city, Dundurn Castle. It’s a gorgeous location with beautiful grounds, and lucky for us, it was the ideal place to capture the essence of their love.

Lea and James had one simple request for their photoshoot: they wanted something laid-back, authentic, and true to who they are—a fun, madly in love couple. And that’s exactly what we did! From the very first shot, the chemistry between them was undeniable. We laughed a lot, shared fun moments, and kept the vibe relaxed and natural.

There’s something about a couple who just enjoys being themselves that makes a photoshoot feel like pure joy. Every time they shared a glance or a smile, you could see how deep their connection really is. True love is such a beautiful thing to capture, and these two made it easy!

Once we were done at Dundurn Castle, we wrapped up the shoot at a special bridge in Hamilton, where Lea and James placed a lock, symbolizing their love for each other. It was the perfect ending to a perfect day—a small, yet meaningful gesture that captured the promise of their future together.
